STATEMENT OF ARTIST PRACTICE

I am an artist who believes in the power of storytelling. My artwork is created through a meticulous layering process in Photoshop, starting with a single image that captures my imagination. Despite my use of digital tools, I am dedicated to preserving the handcrafted feel of traditional artwork. I work with a range of mixed media elements, including hand-drawn sketches and photographs that I take myself, to create unique pieces that are full of depth and texture.

Through my art, I strive to bring my stories to life in the most captivating way possible. After crafting the collage, I bring the characters to life through animation using After Effects. This is where the magic happens – my characters take on a life of their own and become an active part of the creative process.

With the use of AR technology, my art becomes even more immersive and engaging. Viewers can use a free app to experience the magic of my work by watching the collage come to life right on their phone screens. I hope that my work inspires others to see the world in a new way and appreciate the beauty of storytelling.

We are Israeli artists, who live in Germany.
We are a collage of there and here.
We are here and long to be there. We are here and we want to be here.
Part of us is looking for the promised land, part of us is fleeing hell.
The birds also move from here to there and back, moving with the nature of the seasons. We open our window for them.

Neshamonet is part of “Fist Lev” Saar Liven’s mini album, a concept album of a multi-dimensional and multi-sensory work, a collage that makes a connection between shades and poles, into a multidisciplinary female work: written poetry, visual art, and musical work. Four poets, four artists, and one musician put together a poetic and powerful work, in the smart and sensitive production of Stella Gott and Adam Shaflan.

Augmented Reality prints are a new way to experience art. The AR aspect of the print takes the experience to a whole new level by allowing the viewer to break the limitations of the physical world.

To experience the AR you can download the Artivive app for free and explore the illustrations using your phone screen.

If the document is printed with standard home printing quality, the AR feature may not function properly. In this case, open the document on your computer and point your phone towards the screen.
